Contest Prep & Posing Gurus

During the first consultation you will receive information on general costs and what to expect. Usually prior to the conversation we will ask that you send us recent pictures or come prepared to do so during the consultation. This is so we can see:

  1. Where you are
  2. What category will best suit your body type
  3. Depending on your goals, choose a competition and date(s) for you
  4. Give you a general idea of what you need to work on pre contest prep

From there we will answer any questions you may have about the process, workouts, posing, costs, and logistics.

Once you have signed on to the program we give you an itemized schedule of the countdown to competition day. We prefer to start 4 months away from the competition, to give you enough time to get prepared and ample time to get a coherent program together…unless you are a seasoned competitor and already know how your body reacts to competition dieting.

12 to 10 weeks out (3 months before the competition), is when everything is fired up and you start the official diet, cardio, workouts, weekly body fat measurements and progress pictures. Your diets, posing, conditioning and workouts vary leading up to the competition. Everyone is a little different so this is where you separate knowledgeable coaches from those who don’t really know what he or she is doing. This is where we earn our keep and your respect.

8 to 6 weeks out we also sit down and strategize your suit. For men doing Figure, its pretty straight forward but for Bikini, Figure and body building…there is thought and strategy going into the suit you choose. Rent, purchase, buy used, color, cut, style, gems, no gems, budget, attachments, order time, jewelry, shoe style…all things that will need to be discussed and finalized.

6 to 4 weeks out – We revisit and change your workouts, posing, and diet dramatically. By now your diet should be dialed in and we are working on polishing your routine and any lagging body parts.

4 to 2 weeks out – You should have your suits, shoes, trunks…everything you will have on or not have on competition day. Along with the weekly progress pictures we put together for you, we can also set up both photo shoots and video shoots of workouts and posing sessions for our clients that they can have some professional done pictures and video of their journey. We offer and recommend scheduling photo shoot the day before the competition.

Then there is competition day. The day you have been waiting for…So much goes on into you looking your best for a couple hours. We again have a host of amenities for you to choose from such as:
